Mark was appointed the KCB Group Director Strategy & Innovation in May 2025, to spearhead the implementation of the Group Strategy while at the same time driving innovation across the business.
A highly experienced and results-driven senior leader in the global payments industry, with 15+ years of diverse experience in senior management roles in financial services and digital technology sectors, he has proven track record in driving strategy development and execution.
Mark joined KCB from PayPal where he was Regional Director Enterprise Sales & Business Development for Middle East & Africa, based in Singapore. He has served in other capacities within PayPal, as well as other financial sector players like Pesapal as Chief Executive Officer, among others.
He holds an MBA in Strategic Management (Strathmore Business School) and BSc. Computer Science (JKUAT), as well as other professional certifications.
